Kathleen
Practice Manager/Nurse Specialist

Kathleen began developing the protocols for CWLS before our doors opened. Her role is now twofold in a management and nursing capacity.

She has over 30 years nursing experience and a large proportion of her clinical time was spent as second in charge of a busy Emergency Department where part of her duties included teaching and training. She is experienced in dealing with people who are in crisis, but now looks forward to helping our patients through their weight loss journey. As a mother of two, Kathleen understands what is involved with the balance of busy family life and a person’s own needs. Her special interests include cooking and the healing energy treatment of Reiki.

On the nursing side, Kathleen is involved in the initial nursing assessment, as well as coordinating the results of blood tests and other consultations, so that the surgeons can make an informed decision about the most appropriate treatment and hospital for our patients’ surgery.

Kathleen also looks forward to seeing her patients after surgery and continuing the care which is so very important in the weight loss journey. She will do what she can to make sure that everything goes to plan and ensures our teamwork at Complete Weight Loss Surgery is one of highest compassion.
